Event Design
The Success in Education event’s goals are twofold: to recognize individuals and organizations that have proven their commitment to increasing access to education, and to provide rich conversation on topics of learning and workforce development through a distinguished panel of speakers. The Puget Sound Business Journal first produced this event in 2017 alongside an accompanying print special section.
This program aims to look beyond traditional learning institutions and highlight alternative routes to education, such as trade schools and apprenticeships. Designing materials with this in mind, I chose to implement an arrow motif to illustrate different “pathways” to the workforce.
This design was used again for the 2018 event, with a central topic of “The Intersection of Business and Education."
Work completed at the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2017. Deliverables included a logo, invitations, posters, programs, print and web advertisements, email marketing graphics, slideshow presentation decks, and an animated video intro.
