Each year, the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Women of Influence program honors a group of women in the business community who go above and beyond in making a difference for their companies and communities. It also bestows legacy awards to women whose life’s work left a lasting impact.
I created assets for the 2017 iteration of the award program, updating existing materials by pairing the event’s signature red with a light painterly texture. The design needed to be both strong and refined, without feeling stereotypically gendered. The end result was well suited to the high-end dinner program celebrating some of the region’s most powerful women.
